The CW-5HD transmitter and receiver deliver uncompressed HD-SDI or SD-SDI video with virtually no latency or artifacts. In live outside broadcasts or in the studio, high definition signals are wirelessly transmitted from a professional camera to a monitor—directors, producers and film crews can see exactly what the camera is shooting in real time without long cable runs.
The system uses advanced MIMO (multiple in/multiple out) channels and OFDM (orthogonal frequency diversity multiplexing) for digital multi-carrier modulation. Crystal clear images are received in either Unicast using 256-bit secured encryption or Multicast mode for reception by multiple receivers simultaneously.
