IBIS Archive Solutions

IBIS Archive is a PC based application providing the ability to automatically or manually transfer clips from a server system to an archive, using a standard IBIS Windows GUI. The application uses the power of IBIS ServerBase Media Asset Management database to track material sent to archive, including its associated meta-data.

Upon transfer the details of the tape number and location of the material on that tape are logged in the IBIS Archive database. This information can be queried using comprehensive meta-data search tools to enable retrieval of the physical storage medium a straight-forward task.

IBIS Archive interfaces to both VTR and XDCam to provide a highly efficient cost effective means of transferring material to a useful physical storage medium, such as Beta SP or XDCam disc.
